That's.. not very impressive. City looks so dead and there is not much going on, viewing distance is nothing, surfaces and lightning look flat and so on. I really root for this game but this wasn't it
It looks bad for now, but three months is still a while. Me too rooting for this game.
Yeah agree, gta 5 doesn't have flat road surfaces and that makes it more challenging and fun to drive on. It feels boring here. Unless roads surfaces are really that flat there in japan. You can't even see the car body roll. Like you are just moving a box. The water patches on the road after rain don't create any splash or unsettles the car at high speeds. So its all only visuals. The social places are too blank, like you wonder what the purpose really was, no interaction with anything and the background ambient noices is almost non existent in those places. I still don't like the fact that the virtual speedo and rpm when outside the car isn't different for every car like it used to be in tdu 1 and 2. Its all about racing in sc. And the Ai is way too easy. No nice unique transport missions or story like the old tdus. I feel like this game will die quick. I haven't ordered yet, waiting to watch more videos 1st after the full game is released. Idk why new open world driving games now just go for small maps. I still find the crew 2 better than alot of games on that aspect. We have a big map and tons of beautiful places to explore, with different category of vehicles ranging from cars, bikes and even planes and boats. The races are actually fun to me and the progression is quite nice. That's just me tho. I even restarted a new game. I play on pc and the crew's 2 graphics look way better and feels alot smoother, both driving and image feel than on console. Anyways am not really hyped no more about tdusc. I hope its just a side game and that they will release a tdu3 like that old titles that were unique, except with modern graphics. Nothing special has been brought to the car world now.

The crew did it really well with the map, only i couldn't really enjoy it because of the simplistic car handling. If the crew had the handling of forza horizon i would be happy. It's not even about realism but the cars should feel smooth and have some weight which they don't a lot in tc1 and 2. Bought both and ended up refunding on two separate occasions

Loved Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2. This game is so disappointing, the map is like 1/10 the size of the island in TDU1 and TDU2
Really cool demo, its fun specially if you cruise with friends

use frame gen so the game can be played properly
RTX 3080 does not support DLSS frame generator.
Must have a 4000 series or newer for frame generation. This is a RTX 3000 card.
@@alexfirth21 true and false! im using frame generation on my 2070 super, i play on high sittings easily 70-90 fps and 100+ outside city. luke frame gen mode

When will they stop making car games like the movie "I Am Legend", we don't have the technology to create more creative games, or will they only copy games from the 2000s. I won't buy it, I already have games like that.
